Director of Animal Welfare for West Hollywood - Mr. Chris DeRose

Mr. Chris DeRose--who has worked as a Hollywood actor, reporter and police officer--is the author of the book In Your Face: From Actor to Animal Activist and the founder and president of Last Chance for Animals (LCA). The organization fights and exposes animal cruelty, especially in relation to vivisection.

Mr. DeRose has devoted his life to exposing and fighting for the animals. Recently, he has suggested that a required "Compassion" class be taught at all American schools.
