Charlotte at Baruch Spinoza's house in Rjynsberg, Holland near the charming town of Leyden. Spinoza lived there for many years and used to read in the garden. Charlotte read Spinoza's Ethics in the garden during her visit in the 1990's.

Charlotte's favorite philosopher is Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677) aka Benedictus de Spinoza, and this is her favorite picture of him.
